Castle Howard

Today we went to Castle Howard. It's not our usual kind of castle because it's not a ruin but it sure was a lot of fun. They've got fantastic grounds with a great park and lots of places to run and explore. The Castle itself is also very cool with amazing rooms and very helpful staff. There was a great mineral collection, some brilliant busts and we got to touch a Salvador Dali sculpture (don't tell anyone!).

Too much fun was had at the play park. I think we monopolised the spinney thing a bit!

Warkworth Castle

We're on our holidays! We're heading for North Yorkshire this time and the way south we stopped at Warkworth Castle. It's a very cool castle, really quite large in a lovely wee English village. Of course we had to continue the tradition!

These are some fireplaces.

About a Boy

Last night of Cubs before the summer break was spent at Craigs Scout Campsite. We had great fun as can be witnessed from the condition of me and my clothes!

The Queen's Baton

We went along to see The Queen's Baton make its way through Livingston on its way to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. There was a lot of sporty things to see and do, including a display by Astro Gymnastics - well done, folks!

I took part in a fun run and got a medal!

And here comes the Baton!

Mum and Dad don't get the hero they want, they get the hero they deserve can relatively easily craft for school - thanks, Mum!
