It's nearly Christmas! Time to make biscuits for the tree decorations!

Summer Barbecue

First day back home and the weather is significantly better than we had while on holiday - typical, right?!

Brilliant day to laze about and have a barbecue for dinner. Man food!

And after the delicious bits of dead animal, we enjoyed roasted marshmallows over the remains of the BBQ coals - brilliant!

Chocolate Ladybirds

School summer holidays. Obviously it's raining. A lot. So today we made CHOCOLATE LADYBIRDS!

Biscuit Design

Today was my school summer fayre and Mummy was there with a stall selling kitchen equipment so Daddy had the joy of following me around with my friend Laura. There was lots to see and do including a bouncy castle, pony rides and a treasure hunt. But here's a picture of the biscuit I decorated for Laura. She decorated one for me and they tasted amazing!

Gingerbread Men and Houses!

While we were geocaching on holiday we picked up a trackable. For all of you muggles out there, a trackable is something that you collect from a cache and move to another cache. Each one has a unique number and you log it and look it up to see it's story or goal.  This one was a gingerbread man and its goal was to move around caches and for people who collect it to make gingerbread men and put the pictures on its log. So when Dad went back to work, Mummy and me made gingerbread men! It was fun making them but even more fun eating them - they were delicious!

Easter Eggs!

Mummy and me made our own Easter Eggs. We melted some chocolate and then put it in egg molds. We even made one with my name on it. I don't think it made it taste any better unfortunately!

Chocolate Brownies

Mummy made chocolate brownies today. They are amazing. And I got the lick the bowl. It was so good..!

Soap Making

It's so very nearly Christmas. Only 4 more days of school - and that's assuming we're not snowed off again (which is looking increasingly likely)! So time to get presents for my teachers sorted. And this year they'll be getting soap. Because they all smell really bad! No, not really. But Mummy and me have made this soap ourselves. It smells lovely and has stars inside it!

Baking

Today I helped Mummy make chocolate-chip banana muffins. And they were amazing! We had such a good time making them too - even if Daddy was in our faces with the camera too much of the time!

Chip off the Old Block

Look at the size of this chip! It's the biggest chip I've ever seen. I wonder how big the potato was? It must have been at least as big as my head. Wow!

Do you know the muffin man?

Daddy and I baked some biscuits at the weekend. They were ginger biscuits and we were able to use my new range of cutters to cut them out. The picture is only a small selection of the different shaped biscuits we now have. They're yummy! I helped with the measuring and the mixing. We spent ages mixing up the ingredients after we put the butter in to get the right consistency and it would have taken Daddy all afternoon without my help. It was good fun and well worth the mess!
